Hi my name is Jenn. I'm the 34 year old mom to 3 amazing sons who all have different special needs. My husband, Darre, works on my family's organic dairy farm in Williamstown, VT. Our oldest son is Arthur aka Boo he's 11 and has autism, but that's such a small part of who he is; he's also an expert on dinosaurs and video games. Our middle son is Joesph aka Joejoe. He's 6 and a wild child, but also a really snuggly kid who happens to have extreme ADHD and is being tested for a processing disorder and possible asperburgers. He loves legos and creating with crafts. Harvey is the baby at 3. He likes tractors and anything to do with the farm. He has apraxia, which is what causes him to have issues with motor skills and his speech.
I was diagnosed almost a year ago with Myasthenia Gravis which affects my vision and voluntary muscle groups. I have the biggest issue with double vision and swallowing. I was told to take meds which I do, but the side effects stink, and I'm also supposed to avoid over doing it and stress. When told the restrictions I started laughing, because I live in Autism World, where over doing it and stress are a way of life!
I am also a part time student (was full time until this semester) working on my associates in early childhood education at CCV. This blog is to share the photos from my digital photography class.
